Date 2016-11-30

▪ Provide 100 units of XLV and contributes to boost car sharing service with the popularity of Tivoli-platform models

▪ Share SsangYong network as ‘Green Zone,’ expecting to expand service networks to nationwide SsangYong showrooms in addition to current Green Zone

SsangYong Motor Company(CEO Choi, Johng-sik; www.smotor.com/en) announced that the company made a business agreement with a Korean car sharing company ‘Green Car’ regarding providing SsangYong XLV.

Agreement ceremony was held at SsangYong W-Lounge in Seoul, attended by the head of Domestic Sales Div. Kwang-Sup Lee, and the CEO of ‘Green Car’ company Yong-Ho Lee. They pledged joint efforts on XLV car sharing service launch and future promotion.

Following 128 units of Tivoli last year, this is the 2nd time that SsangYong provides vehicles for car sharing service by agreeing to supply 100 units of XLV. A SsangYong official said “We noticed that Tivoli-platform models have been loved by car sharing service users as well who tend to be practical and rational, and furthermore, we hope that these models have contributed to boost and expand the car sharing service market.”

With the continuous partnership, cooperation between SsangYong and Green Car is expected to expand with the launch of new cars in the future

Meanwhile, the supplied XLV models are available at the 63 SsangYong sales outlets and service networks across the country, in addition to the current Green Zone, which improves customer accessibility. Moreover, the two companies agreed to cooperate to make it possible for all the SsangYong dealers to be able to use the SsangYong vehicles for business purpose or customer test drive through the Green Car service.
