It
is a mechanism for a driver to drive easily
with reducing burden of operation. It enhances
driving stability when changing lane suddenly
or cornering and also secures acceleration
on the slippery road surface such as snowy
or icy roads. |
 |
[Principle
for operation]
Speed of wheels, perceived by sensor attached
to wheel disc, is transmitted to ECU(Electronic
Controlled Unit), and with that ECU, comparing
this information to the speed of vehicle,
determines wheel spin and controls brake.
This mechanism helps a driver to drive easily. |

Controlled 4-Channel 4 Sensor ABS |
 |
When sudden braking or braking on the frozen
road or watery road, it prevents slip by locking
wheels. And it secures stability of steering
and directing. |

Braking
at Straight Driving
When going straight, if one wheel is
on slippery road and the coefficient
of friction is different, it controls
wheels differently to make the car go
straight without slip.
|
|
Braking
at Turning
On the slippery road, if you brake at
turning, the car will be slipped. You
can turn safely without locking wheel
situation.
|
|
Braking
at Obstacles
When you drive at high speed, if you
brake in front of obstacles, the steering
wheel will be locked. Automobile with
ABS can avoid this situation, so that
it is possible to avoid obstacles.

LSD(Limited Slip Differentail)
It prevents any useless rotation of wheels by retaining
transfer of torque when driving the snowy, icy or
slippery road or when mired in a muddy area or ditch,
and it also transfer the maximum driving capacity
by increasing of driving capacity of an opposite
wheel.
