This program integrates the electronic brake-force distribution, EBD antilock brake system, brake assist system, active rollover protection and hill descent control functions. It actively intervenes if the driver begins to lose control of the vehicle on a wet or icy surface or during a sharp turn. The sophisticated multifunction ESP will ascertain vehicular speed and balance, engine output, pedal pressure, steering wheel angle and other data and then adjust engine power and braking so that the vehicle returns to its intended course.
